The British Café offers sandwiches, soups and desserts concocted on the spot, with the best coffee in town.

The Café is open all day: Early risers can take their breakfast and night owls go there to find local musical artists in the evenings “open mic” while enjoying a drink.

The British Café also has an extensive collection of board games and holds regular game nights for those with a competitive spirit. Formerly the site of the Provincial Bank of Canada (founded in 1861), the Café has been fully restored to expose the original brick walls and huge windows. The old safe doors of the bank, visible from the main room, helps to highlight the fascinating history of the building.
