There’s buzz in the air about the British Square
Does the British Square offer resident parking?
Yes, underground parking spaces at the British Square are available to renters for an additional monthly fee. These limited spaces will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis and a maximum of one space per unit.
Is the British Square pet-friendly?
Of course! Pets are an important part of the Aylmer lifestyle so your furry friends are as welcome as you are at the British Square.
Does the British Square offer barrier free accessibility?
Yes. The development is fully modernized and select units are equipped for complete adaptability and accessibility.
The British Square looks pretty upscale. Is it within my budget?
Despite our attention to detail and quality, we’ve done our utmost to keep rental rates competitive. The British Square is very likely within budget for urban professionals and retirees.
Exactly how far away is the beach?
Great question! Old Aylmer boasts arguably the best public beach in the entire Capital Region at Parc des Cèdres, and it’s literally a 10-minute walk (one kilometer) from the front door of the British Square. The water is warm and the sunsets are spectacular.
Do all units in the British Square have the same layout?
There are actually 37 different unit designs across the 84 apartments in the British Square. That means you’ll find some distinct characteristics in the various floor plans that you can view right here.
What building amenities can we expect?
There’s quite a long list! Residents of the British Square will enjoy retail shops, a workout room and yoga studio, a leisure and events room, bicycle storage, car wash (and pet wash!), and more. See the complete description here.
Does the British Square feature a laundry room?
There’s no need for a common laundry room because each and every British Square unit contains a high-efficiency washer and dryer pairing for optimal convenience.
Will the building design fit with the Old Aylmer neighborhood?
We carefully consulted with architects and project planners for three years before breaking ground on a structure designed to complement and enhance the beauty and charm of Old Aylmer — and specifically the British Hotel itself, which dates back to 1834.
